interest decrease..

for some reason, my interest in english is decreased.. Maybe i dont have much time enough to learn english stuff.. too busy huh?!.. mm nope.. just put it to the less important priority..

I have many things more important to do than learn english which is not much influence in my live for this short term..

I have to reduce my sleeping time. Many useful activities i can do.
I usually spend 7 hours  for sleeping more or less. Not much. That's the normal time to sleep. But somehow i feel it takes much time for me.
Oke..
First, dont reduce the sleeping time a lot. Slow down. If it work then increase the time.
Maybe i'll try 30minutes for the beginning.
My target is 5 hours for sleeping.

Saturday

Today is saturday. As usual, in the morning about 8.30 a.m. i get ready to attend 'majelis ilmu' on gajah mada street behind Pos Kota.

Appreciate others..

We know that nobody is perfect. Each people has some lack and vice versa, they have some good points as well. Yup, we should realize it. We certainly feel happy if another people appreciate our existence, our opinion, our decisions. If so, we have to appreciate others first right?..
The point i wanna bring it on this blog is, dont be arrogant. Dont underestimate the others. Yeah, you just need a appreciating attitude to others, it will make a comfortable condition..

Second Job..

Second job. I became a honorer teacher for math. First, i tought personally by coming to their home. That was just a month, more or less. Then, i tought in class. Here was the first time for me called “Pak”. It sounded strange enough for the first time. You know, i am a young man, but they called me with an older-calling (is it right to say that in english? hehe).. Well that was not point here. I tought for elementary to 1st senior high school. That made me tried to get adaptation. I ve got many lessons from becoming a teacher. You know, this profession was my heart desire while i was in the beginning terms in the college. But i got it at the very last term. Well that’s not problem..  i decided that i wanted to be teacher because of some reasons. You know, i am weak in public speaking. So, becaming teacher was the suitable profession to improve my weaknesses. To became more firm, to communicate my ideas well, to became more responsible, wanted to know how it felt becaming teacher. Yes Those are the  reasons.
Hmm.. this profession was not long though, about 3 months. I had to finish my thesis. So, i left behind the profession.  I ve got many experiences there. Now, i know how desperate a teacher to teach students  who dont have any intention to study.. Need a strong patient..
Anyway, i enjoyed this part of my life. That was just a little process in my life..

First Job..

Actually, this job (my current job as BI consultant) is not my first job. I ever worked before. But that time when i was a college student. You can say, this is my first formal job hehe.. Ok, i am gonna share my previous jobs here.
First job. I worked as programmer flash. It took two months whereas it had been planned a month to finish all tasks. I got many experiences here. How i should behave professional, how i should communicate with user, how my appearance should be, etc. Actually, at first i tried to refuse this job because of my skill. I wasn’t so familiar with flash and didn’t have any experience with it. I tried to give it to my friends. But, thanks to them because of their rejection hehe.. At the end, i got a lesson that we should have a positive thinking. Just try to do the best, keep praying, and give them to Allah subhanahu wa Ta’ala for the rest. We dont know the future, so get rid of the negative thinking! Allah Azza wa Jalla determine it!

new activity..

I have just been 2 weeks in this company. During the time i learned slq server 2008 which is it will be used by me as long as i work here. Learn thoery, query, sintax, tools, and etc. Still i felt knowing a bit. Well, monday is our test (beside me, there are 4 newcomers people there). I hope i can do the best and fulfill company's expectation, although it won't determine wheter i got dismiss or not (it is too fast, isnt?)
Hmm, if i see for my future (in this company), i will just involve one tool in my work. I wanna more than that. Haha i havent master the tool but already expect master another, so arogant.
Then i just can do the best for this job. It doesnt mean i use the tool all day. No. I try another tool, read another stuff. Saturday and Sunday are my chance. Yes, those days i can try another stuff. Like manage my blog, try upload my blog to my own domain, and etc.

Let's see my future in few months later, then i can make a decision what next step.

bad habit..

It's already been a week i sleep lateness. I ve been felt uncomfortable with this condition. Look at the clock. It has already 1:55am. Tomorrow i need to change this habit. You know, wednesday is my first work day. So, i have to make a good impression. "The first impression lasts long", it says so.
Huff, i have to make less sleep tomorrow in order to make heavy sleepy tomorroy night.
Ok, let's go to bed then..

I am not unemployment. Yup, yesterday i already was stated that i ve got the job. After studying at university and grappled by college stuff, finally i will implement my knowledge in a company.

To be honest, i am not familiar with some things (terms, tools, technique, etc) in this job. But i am sure later i will be able to handle and get familiar with all those stuff.

Interview..

A day before i got a graduated license (is it right to say that for SKL? :p), i was called by a company that i had applied to. Honestly, i was happy to hear that, though worried as well because i had not gotten the license. Fortunately, i could got it a day after the calling, so there is enough time to learn for the test. Shortly, i passed the test and i heard from friend of mine who work at the company that i got high score for the test, glad to hear that guys :D  You know it makes my confident increase ;). And tomorrow the interview will be held. This is my first time face formal interview. Wish me luck guys.. If there is no wall for it, i will work as Junior Bussiness Intelligence. Hmm, it looks like a fair cool position, doesnt it?? hehe..

Ups, i almost forget. I have two calls for interviewing interview tomorrow at the same time. Confused. But i decided that i choose the first one. Many things become consideration. 

Luckily, the second company who called me gave me another day for interviewing interview. Huff.. so, i can compare both of them hehe..

motivation..

how do you get motivation??
at first i just looked around in EF kaskus, and i found interesting thread that discuss about how to stop procrastinating.. Hmm, while i read the title, yes, that's also my question :P
Over there, i found some interesting sentences (maybe paragraph).. and below is one of them,

Well procrastination primarily stems from two main condition. First is that you don't find the task as something hard thus you put it off until the very last minute. This is a common trend among people that are above average but perform poorly. They know they're good and they know that they can get by/pass a class with minimal work.

Second is the opposite case, these are people that think the task is too hard to do and/or will be too time consuming thus they will convince discouraged themselves from working on it. They will put it off by "reasoning" that there's not enough time right now or it doesn't matter if they spend 5 hours or 10 hours the results will be the same anyway, etc etc. It could also stem from fear of failure, where they don't want to try their best because they are afraid that if they do their best and they failed then that is the extend of their ability.

Overall the solution varies from person to person. Most people suffers from the first condition where they are capable to do it but choose to put it off and do something else or get distracted by something.

A general yet simple solution would be to enforce discipline and organization. First you organize a schedule on when is a time to do homework, project, study for test, etc. Second, stick to it. If 3-5 is time you set aside to work then you must do it until all of them are done, no if's and's or but's about it. Third, make your study/work area conducive. Put away and turn off your cellphones, mp3 player, and other electronic devices so that you will not be tempted to use them. Make sure it is a nice and comfortable place with sufficient lighting so that you don't feel sleepy halfway through.

Sadly, there's no silver bullet to this problem. The solution is inside the individual, you just have to dig deep. Such is life, sometimes it takes one or two "failure" to turn a person around and sometimes they never change ... ...

huaa.. after studying the damn stuff for final exam, i played game, PES6 till subuh :(
so much i spend the time.. yaah, it just fulfilled my longing fave hehe.. it is about time to enjoy my cappuchino and bis**at cake :D .. they are my first activity this morning.. keep up the good work guys..

do you have skill??

of course i do. But those skills are so poor. i ve been improving them. Either softkill or hardskill. I need to learn much. These following are my target skill:
1. english
2. java, hibernate, spring (it is coumputer stuff)
3. networking (client server, peer to peer, protocol, etc)
4. enterpreneur's mind

Yup, you can say all those are hardskill. First, english. I think, mmm maybe i am totally sure that many source knowledges written by english. and if you wanna fly high (hold the world), you have to master it. Second, those stuffs. I dont have any doubt that i have to know and master them. Yeah, it is because i am computer science, and i will be grappled to that world. Next,networking. I think it is the basic knowledge that we as computer science's student have to know. Many applications include networking in the its working principle. Finally, enterpreneur's mind. I have a dream that someday, i will build company by my own hands. For that purpose, enterpreneur's mind has to be in my mind..

The big step..

If you have already choose that you wanna be more mature, then it is about time YOU MUST LEAVE YOUR COMFORT ZONE. It doesn't mean you may not come into that area at all, but you must be able to see the time when you wanna come into it. There is a scala priority. That's the point. Everybody knows that life must be balance, work and relax. And the difference between children and adult is how long his time be spent. Adult people spend much their time in work zone (it should be like that, in fact there are some of them not be like that), while children spend much their time in relax zone. So, when you make a decision to be more mature, you have to prepare yourself to suffer in the transition phase (work, work, work). Trust me, you have a right to success in the end. Everybody has the same right. But again, it depends on you boy..

Maturity..

Maturity needs a process. Yup, i know that. Many factors can influence someone's maturity. The biggest factor that maybe can influence it, i think is environment. No doubt that the environment where anyone grows up can change his mind. You can pay an attention someone's mind and just try to see his environment background. and you will see how their environment's treatment. You maybe see the maturity by how he speaks, how he communicates his idea, how he evaluates his surrounding, always talk about the future, how his attitude, etc. Yeah, those criterias are some of indicators how mature he is. Are there the indicators in myself??
i am still improving myself, including that one, maturity. Maybe i can make a first step by leaving useless thing (at least, minimalize it). What exactly is my useless thing?? Hmm, It is not an appropriate place to share bad thing. So, i just wanna promise in myself to change my attitude, my mind, etc little by little. And i know to get the maturity is hard thing, need strong 'istiqomah'..

I have made a decision

A little bit more i will go into job world. I was supposed to be there one year ago. Nevermind, i live for today, yesterday was past time, so i have to view the future (hehe i dont mean to make an excuse :P)
But.. before i go into there, it seems i am interested in developing my skill first. ENGLISH. Yup, i will master that stuff first. In my mind, if i go straight to work after graduating, i will not get much time to learn english (maybe just saturday and sunday). Many reasons i insist myself to master it. To get better english i have to choose a better place. KEDIRI. Yeah, i will go there after graduating for 3 months.
If there is no any obstacle, march i will be there.
So, i will really hunt a job in june. That's the plan. Wish me luck. Bismillah..
